1月11日，濂溪区市场监管局在九江萍钢钢铁有限公司对查获的某机电批发部销售的侵犯“SKF”注册商标专用权的640个轴承进行了集中销毁。这是濂溪区市场监管局销毁的本辖区内一起侵犯国际自主知识产权物品。
当天，这批侵权轴承被运至集中销毁现场；上午11时，销毁活动正式开始。机械手臂将侵权轴承抓入5米多高的料罐中，然后将料罐吊起运送到4号炼钢炉内，经过3000℃高温熔炼。一小时后，此批640个侵权轴承完全熔炼完毕。
轴承被称为“机械的关节”，轴承商品广泛应用于工业生产、农业机械等众多行业，精密度要求非常高，假冒轴承往往达不到这个要求，存在非常高的安全隐患。
濂溪区市场监管局相关负责人表示：“据我们了解，假冒货物通常都成本低廉，与正牌商品比较，存在较大的非法利润空间，使少数不法分子铤而走险。假冒轴承的价格一般要比正品低，而且粗制滥造，严重损害了品牌的形象和声誉。”
对侵权商品进行没收销毁，是监管部门对侵权企业进行处罚的做法之一。濂溪区市场监管局将进一步加强日常监管，强化业务知识培训，增强辨别力，与权利人密切联系沟通，及时交换相关情报线索，激发权利人自我保护的积极性。
