　　陕钢龙钢公司炼钢精整老区热送辊道辊子长期处于高温环境下，生产过程中因铸坯从提升机滑轨滑下在上输送辊道时产生撞击，加之原设计辊子为两轴头与辊身分两端焊接而成，使热送辊子两端面焊缝开裂，造成辊子在运行过程中摆动较大、轴承座轴承经常损坏不能正常使用，辊子使用寿命明显缩短。增加了备件消耗和备件成本费用。

　　为了解决该问题，炼钢厂维修人员现场讨论研究，经讨论决定将热送辊子更换下来后，在维修过程中将原辊子两端挡板及轴承去掉，改为一根通轴，经机修部门重新加工轴和挡板，维修人员自己校正并焊接。同时，回收以前连铸输送辊道报废辊子，根据热送辊道辊子长度截取后，经机修部门加工、校正、焊接改成热送辊道辊子。

　　改造后，使用情况良好，增加了辊子使用寿命，年可节约备件成本约二十万元。
