洛阳市科协按照省政府办公厅的通知要求，根据市委、市政府的工作安排，在中国工程院院士樊会涛的积极动议下，把“高速铁路轴承自主化途径研究”项目的论证申报作为重点工作持续向前推进。组建由5位院士领军，中原学者、河南科技大学副校长魏世忠教授具体负责，河南科技大学、洛阳LYC轴承有限公司和洛阳轴研科技股份有限公司等46名轴承专业高级工程师组成的项目研究团队，先后3次组织论证项目研究内容，起草完成12000字的《高速铁路轴承自主化途径研究项目立项申请书》。该项目于2019年12月顺利通过中国工程科技发展战略河南研究院学术委员会组织的答辩审核，高速铁路轴承自主化途径研究重大咨询研究项目申报工作获得成功。省政府165万元专项工作经费已经拨付到项目实施单位--河南科技大学，中国工程院134万元项目经费计划于今年下半年拨付到位。高速铁路轴承自主化途径研究项目的申报成功，为“支持争取高铁轴承装车路试”列入省委、省政府支持副中心城市建设项目奠定了坚实基础。
