8月28日下午，中国科学院在北京召开新闻发布会，公布2020年度陈嘉庚科学奖获奖项目和陈嘉庚青年科学奖获奖人。清华大学雒建斌等5位院士领衔的科技成果，分别获得2020年度陈嘉庚科学奖的各个奖项，奖金100万元。北京大学关启安等6位青年科学家获得陈嘉庚青年科学奖，奖金20万元。

雒建斌院士获得陈嘉庚科学奖的项目是“摩擦中微粒作用机制及超滑机理”。
