11月17日，中信泰富特钢集团旗下江阴兴澄特种钢铁有限公司和舍弗勒贸易（上海）有限公司在江阴共同签署“铁路轴承用先进材料研发及应用”合作备忘，双方将加强在铁路用先进材料领域的研究及合作开发，共同提高轨道交通用轴承的服役寿命和安全性。
作为拳头产品，兴澄特钢生产的轴承钢产销量连续20年全国，连续13年世界。企业高端轴承钢国内市场占比居于领先地位，是国内外知名轴承制造公司高标准轴承钢的Z主要供应商之一，生产的铁路轴承用钢已通过多个国家铁路客户的认证。
舍弗勒集团是全球知名的汽车和工业产品供应商，在中国设有上海安亭、湖南长沙2个研发中心，拥有太仓、南京、苏州、银川、湘潭10座工厂。企业在银川和南京拥有两条铁路轴承生产线，2002年银川工厂产线正式投产，主要生产公制、英制铁路轴箱轴承，应用于铁路机车、货车及地铁等领域；2017年舍弗勒高端铁路轴承本土化项目在南京工厂启动，主要生产机车、地铁及高铁轴箱轴承。舍弗勒贸易（上海）有限公司于2006年在上海成立，负责舍弗勒产品的研发以及在中国大陆地区的销售和售后服务。
双方的合作已超过20年，开发的产品已批量应用于诸多工业领域。本次签约是双方深化战略合作，继续优势互补的体现，主要目的在于加强双方在铁路轴承先进材料研发、生产及应用方面的布局，赋能产业链的发展，同时也是为响应终端客户的属地化要求，进一步缩短供货周期，提高本地服务质量。
关于铁路轴承
铁路轴承主要是指应用于高速动车组、铁路货车、地铁、轻轨、有轨电车、机车等轨道交通工具的转向架系统的轴箱、齿轮箱轴承、牵引电机轴承，是轨道交通车辆稳定、高效、安全运输的重要保障。
