       近日，伴随着大唐、华能新能源、华电、龙源定边风力发电厂共计40万千瓦的风电机组相继建成投运，陕西省定边县风力发电建成并网总规模达到138万千瓦，这也标志着该县正式成为继靖边县之后陕西省第二个“百万千瓦风电基地”。



       据了解，定边县位于陕西省Z西北端，是全省风能资源非常丰富的地区之一，境内风能资源储量巨大，年平均风速在6米/秒以上的可开发利用面积达3000多平方公里，被誉为陕西Z适宜建设大型风电场的地区。
       陕西省政府于2012年提出建设陕北百万千瓦风电基地的战略构想后，定边县立足县情、奋力发展，率先在全省建成了个风电场和全国首个分散式风电示范项目。截至目前，该县风电开发建设总规模已突破300万千瓦，其中建成138万千瓦，并由此成为当前全省规模Z大的风力发电基地。
